Ok, so I have begun looking into solutions for my braking issue. With this cam that I have, I dont think I am building enough vacuum for proper braking...I.e, if I pump the brakes 1-2 times before coming to a stop (like a gradual slow down on a main street, and apply a little more pressure each pump) by the time I hit the brake the 3rd time it's like I have manual brakes, very hard to get the car to stop. It's the worst in stop and go traffic, but normally the first 2 pumps it stops good.
So I have been toying with adding an additional vacuum reserve like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...Q5fAccessories
but does anyone have any experience with these? I mean how well would something like that work for me?...or should I look into ripping something off of a diesel car (because they dont have vacuum) and adapt their pump to our cars and use that for my braking?
