This is a cool mod to undertake, but if you don't have Corvette speed out of your Camaro, or even Z28 speed for that matter your regular brakes should do just fine.
First yes I am really from Barbados and live in Barbados,my Camaro is a 93 3.4 V6,the reason for the upgrade is I love the look and 2 in my driving style I love to out brake others and 3rdly they will full up my 18" Wheels.
I check out some info and all you have to do is cut off the ears from off the spindles.
Thanks for the effort guys anymore info will still be appreciated.
I don't know what kind of driving you're planning on doing, but I personally found the upgrade to the 98+ LS1 front brakes to be a significant improvement in pedal feel and braking force. It's also cheaper, especially since you'll have to upgrade first to the 98+ spindles before upgrading to the C5 brakes.
I agree. I'm even considering on going with WS6 brakes on the kitcar I'm building rather than going C5 Z06's all the way around.
I'm satisfied with just upgrading to 98+ brakes which I will do this summer.
