I finally got my car back. Took 2 months to get back from the body shop. First of all, the ABS inop light is on. They told me to drive the car and see if there is anything wrong. Since it has been 2 months since I drove it, I don't really remember how the brakes are supposed to feel. When I press the brake pedal, it feels like it is pulsating or something like that. Feels like it goes in and out. Could it be because of the ABS inop light? I had to get a used rear end, so can it be that? I know the brake pads are all good? Is this normal?

If it doesn't feel normal, its probably not normal.
Brakes should be smooth, firm, non pulsating, and quiet. They should stop the car with ease and without excessive pedal effort, and the pedal shouldn't sink to the floor either.
Make sure all the sensors are hooked up, mainly the rear ABS sensor and the sensors on both front calipers. If they have a lot of miles you might want to replace the rotors and pads all the way around; the brembo rotors from tire rack are nice.
