Seems like a decent deal. Any thoughts. I need to do suspension on my car. My shocks are toast! I'd like to do it right and put something on thats going to last. Not a track car. Just for summer fun, but with performance in mind.
I was told that by a couple of mechanics. But quite a few people here told me I should get both.I'm unsure at this point. I know the springs will give ride drop of 1". but ride wise they prob won't do anything. I would like a definite answer before I drop the $$$. Where would the cheapest place be to buy just the shocks??
if you have the money, for sure get the springs and shocks. Springs are basically good forever, as long as they are always paired with a set of newish correctly valved shocks. This means that they were actually changed at around 40k miles, then again around 80k. But I don't know how many miles you have. :naughty: price is about right though, that was around what I paid for my KYBs and eibach springs a few years back.
My car is a 99 firebird with about 60K. It looks like suspension has never been touched. I thought the price was about right. Seems that the springs go for around 200 and the shocks seem to vary a lot from place to place.
