  • How much PSI are you syposto put in the stock tires?

The car has the origional tires, the tires say 44 and the car door says 30, that is a big difference to me, I havent checked them yet from when I got it. My mom's Jetta has something like this too but it says different pressures for the front and back, I just set them all the same for that car.
I feel that 40 at least should be right, I believe that hole mess last year with the Ford Explorer was caused by something like this where ford says one PSI and Firestone says another, and that is why there were so many accidents.
I talked to my dad about this and he said to go by what is on the tires, I was thinking of just puting 40 in and leave it at that.
what do you have in your tires?

stock GAs I would run around 30-33psi in the front and 28-30 in the rear - Reason being is if you don't they'll wear out faster than lightning down the center.

All things considered, you should probably be running around 30-40 for regular day-to-day driving. I usually have mine at 35.

Run what it says on the door. The number on the tire is the max cold pressure, is it not? The one on the door is the numbe that you use based on the vehicle weight. That's why the factory prints it on the door.

I generally run 33~35 all the way around. If I am taking a long trip at hiway speeds then 35 for sure. that is cold pressure, in the garage in the early morning. Keep in mind I live at 6500 feet and when I go the desert they loose a lil bit, now if I were to start out at a lower elevation they still would be the same settings. I know that if you purchase a bag of chips and bring it up the mountain the bag of chips is really inflated by the time I get home all puffy and ready to burst.
