  • front end upgrade kinda

My car started to make the slightest clunk when I barely turn the wheel to the left. So I'm going to get a set of Moog tie rod ends for it, but I figured while I'm there I might as well change the a arm bushings and have some ball joints pressed in too. As far as the a arm bushings go, are you guys using poly or rubber? I found 2 poly sets, 1 from Energy suspension for $56.95 and 1 from Spohn for $49.95. If poly is the way to go which ones would you go with? Now ball joints, should I go with the Moog ones or the Summit ones? They're roughly the same price (for the lower a arm, havnt looked at uppers yet).

Ball joints and with everything up there go with Moog.

Ok. Do you know anywhere that sells greasable bushings for a 35mm swaybar? I only found 1 pair and the price seemed pretty steep.

Try ebay if not there Thunder racing , LM performance or Strano since he sells 35mm sways. I found greasable bushings for my 32mm on ebay. I had a 35mm but sold it awhile back, but it didn't have the greasable holes in the bushing ,you might not find ones for a 35mm but there not too hard to grease.

Ha ha, you sold it to me. I tried Strano but he wants I think $90 for them. Lmperformance dosnt have any, neither does Thunderracing.

I didn't remember that, I know you got a hell of a deal on it though. I would just keep the ones on it and just grease them about twice a year and you'll be fine. I'm glad you are keeping up with it. LOL

I've had it on for the better part of 2 years now but a couple days after I put it on I blew my motor.the only miles that I've really put on it are since this last january.

What rear bar are you running with it? I ran a 21mm with it and it was like riding on rails. LOL

I'm still running the stock rear bar 17mm I think. I want to find a 21mm sometime soon though, and I think that will finish my suspension off except for a tunnel mount torque arm, but they don't just give those away.

Yeah I do anyway, I don't really drive fast much anymore. My passenger rear tire is bald too so I'm kinda paranoid about spinning out out of nowhere.

21 might even be too small. 1le set up is 32/21 i think strano has 35/23 or some ****.

Anybody know about how long it will take to do new bushings and ball joints per side?
