you should have your brakes checked/bled.
or it could just be a pad problem. altho if one pad is wearing out more than the other, then that is a fluid problem again.
here is the deal, when you hit the brake pedal, one side of your car (the right in this case) is engaging more than the left. hence the right side of the car is stopping more than the left, and the left is pushing still while the right isnt (make sense? if not lemme know ill try to explain it better)
anyway, this is a result of : brake pads wearing on one side more than the other, brake fluid has air bubbles in it and not enough fluid is getting to the caliper, brake line is damaged/cut on the side not braking properly, brake proportioner (sp) isnt working or tuned properly. your best bet is to go to a mechanic (if you havent had experience with brakes) and say, "heres what its doing can you take a look at it?" and see what they say.
anyhow. hope you get it all worked out. btw - you dont change just one set of pads at a time do you? (when the right pads wear out you only change the right and not the right and left at the same time) -- you are supposed to change the brakes in sets (in case you dont know -- i dont know how much you know about changing brakes so dont get mad at me) and not one side at a time to prevent uneven wear and braking problems like you are having.

brake fluid has air bubbles in it
this would cause both front brakes not to respond normally and give a spoungy brake pedal if there was air bubbles in the lines as both fronts r controlled by the same resevore on the master cylinder.
my guess would be to check the drivers side caliper and make sure it is not froze up on the slider and to see if the caliper piston moves freely (while attached to the car still) (will need someone to push the brakes while u inspect the movement). and also as Russel stated check and see if the brake line going to the driver side is damaged and has a blockage due to a crimp in the line. if all looks good then there might be a problem with the proportioning valve.
good luck and hope this helps it can be a pain diagniosing brake problems. i just got done fixing my problem which was the same as you r descibing with my jeep94 Firebird 3.4 M5 t-top<br />mods: 3.4 aluminum block, big block hood, custom ram air,cat back exhaust,3 JL 10 inch W0 with a 1200 wat legacy amp, legacy 6 1/2 componet set , pioneer 3 way 6 1/2 ,pioneer 730 wat amp.

by DongrossmdI’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...3 weeks ago
