• Can Different Shocks Firm up My Ride???

i like my ride height, but i hate the nose dive with my bone stock suspension under most breaking. im looking into shocks for more firmness, but i dont know where to start. for moneys sake, the slp takeoff shocks looked interesting, but any help is MUCH appreciated.

shocks can stiffen everything up a bit, but ride quality will suffer a lot. get adjustable shocuks so that you can adjust ride quality easily. Springs would be better to stiffen it up a bit.

Yes, the proper shocks will do wonders for your suspension - firming and improving the ride quality all together - given that your springs aren't overly stiff (and they probably aren't).

What springs are you currently running and how much are you looking to spend?

Replace your shocks with the SLP take-offs. If you don't like those then try stiffer. But I think that those would give you what you want. You can't get a much better deal on shocks. And I would be willing to bet that if you have your stock shocks still, they have got to be worn to worthless. Anywayz, I would recommend replacing them with SLP take-offs. You should notice a pretty big difference. :D

Yeah being its a 95 and you're on stock springs, a good set of replacement decarbons for $50/4 from SLP is the perfect item for you. They'll last a good 3-5 years (maybe longer) and are great for street use .

If you're looking for performance, a nice $300 set of Bilstein HD's will outlast the car. I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I would probably go with the take-offs. :D
