Has anyone done it? I am gonna put a hitch on it and see what happens. Its a real low profile reciever style. I'm just gonna pull a small 4x8 trailer with one 4 wheeler or motorcycle. Hope the suspension is up to the task.

Towing with a camaro?

I have a shadow mount hitch on mine but it's only used for a bike carrier. I would not tow much with an Fbody. Not only is the frame not capable of tow, but the rear springs are horribly weak also. Stock shocks simply make it unsafe too.
I think though you would be ok with the right kind of trailer that doesn't exceed 150lbs tongue weight, and if you keep it under 1000lbs being towed. (A 200-300lb motorbike on a 100lb trailer is fine for example, A Uhaul is not).2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Several F-body autocrossers I know tow a small trailer to hold their race tires and some tools and other racing stuff.
Plus, they're allowed to keep the hitch on while racing, adding a bit of needed rear weight for the V8 guysDrivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"

Just be careful by idiot uncle towed 2 4-wheelers on a trailer behind his 02 auto firebird on a rather hilly stretch through kentucky and his transmission busted into many pieces midway through the drive. It destroyed the tranny, torque converter, and driveshaft all in one swoop. Smaller trailer might be fine but be smart and keep the RPMs high while accelerating and on the uphills.M5, posi, headers-3\"hooker catback, spec2, alum DS, whisper lid & K&N, hurst, eagle 077s w/kumho supras, subframes, 3point stb, trans hatch

4.56 Gears 3.4L I pulled my 5500lb F150 50 Miles up in the Ozarks by chain "AUTOMATIC 4L60E" so i don't see where you have a problem pulling a trailer with stock gears and a lite load besides vehicle squat. have fun. "note. . . The chevy was pulling the ford. . . Don't we all love it!!!"~BLUEICE~

I have a hitch, Z28 front springs and air shocks in the rear. I some times use the car to back a 16' trailer into my back yard every now and then. My truck cant turn sharp enough and is too long. I would never pull anything a long distance with it, i have and the car is totall underpowered. But if you are going to do it, you basicly have to have air shocks, the car will drop with 20 pounds on the hitch if you dont.http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2245261 Green 1997, 105k, all stock except for Z28 front springs, Air shocks in the rear, home made coolant recovery tank, home made battery hold down.
