What is the size of the rear swaybar on a y87 car?
also would this be safe with a 1le 32front bar and full 1le shocks and springs?

No. The rear bar is a tuning device, not a general good thing. A bigger bar than required by the setup (mostly the springs) is a very bad thing. Like a full race cam in an otherwise stock motor.

GM changed springs in 98 and a smaller rear bar was required. It was not "a step back".
