Saturday night I was going out with some friends, had 4 people in the camaro. We left our apartment complex and I notice the rear tires are rubbing bad. So we turn around and get my wife's car. Anyways, I have 315/35's in the rear and the only time they rub is when I take sharp turns.
I wouldn't think with just 2 people in the back it would have been rubbing, I am guessing I need new shocks. What would you recommend? It's annoying not being able to drive around with people because of that!
stand on the rear bumper and jump up and down like 10 tens, really get the car bouncing, and then jump off.
If the car bounces less than 1.5 times the shocks are bad. If the car bounces more than 2.5 times, the shocks are bad. Otherwise they are fine. The exact numbers vary by person, but those are what I use.
Stock shocks suck period - even brand new. Get a set of Bilstein HDs if you need a simple replacement... if you need more than that I can help... but for 90% of the people the Bilstein HDs are the best and most logical choice.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
