I recently got a Miata, and have been looking through the forums for it. People are dropping 1.5-3k on coilovers and thinking it's cheap.
miata ftw!
and yeah i agree with you and bird. looking into BC coils for the eunos, i wish camaro's had more options for suspension.
Wait, Is that a V6 or V8? 1990 Chevrolet C-K 1500 series 4.3L .. 5spd
1994 JDM Euno Roadster 1.8L 5spd Bolt Ons.. etc 2000 Camaro 3.8L Auto Bolt Ons..etc

Coilovers are an option for Fbodies. You just have to either shell out the same cash as you would for other car coilovers or go with an adapter kit. KW, GC, and Edelbrock are just a few examples I can think of.

For the 4G F-cars coil-over-shock assemblies only make sense in the front.
Not all the coil-overs out there have enough travel for cars which are lowered.
My 01 is lowered about 1 3/8-in. all around and I couldn't use the Edelbrock coilovers because they only had 3/16-in travel. The front end was bottoming all the time.
I ended up with QA1 double-adjustable coil-overs with Eibach springs in the front and QA1 DA's and Global West constant rate springs in the rear.
The Eibach/Bilstein combination I had before was good and the QA1/Eibach/Global West combo is even better. Right now I'm running 7 clicks compression and 5 rebound.

I think i had read before that are cars were pretty heavy for coilovers.

Not sure where you read that, but cars much heavier than fbodies do fine with coilovers.
Suspension travel can be limited by certain setups, even after stiffer spring rates are used. Although there is a guy on ls1tech that modified his front shock mounts to allow for more travel with his Koni/GC setup.
