Yes, I didn't get any when I got the brakes so I have no clue on what size bolts to use to mount the calipiers to the spindle.
You wouldn't have your old bolts from yours would you Robert? Unless they were used on your C5 brakes.

I replaced only the calipers, not the PAB, which is still the 98+ F-body. I would get the GM factory bolts - nothing else.

        98+ Pad/Caliper Bracket Bolt (GM p/n 18023646) - 2 required per bracket

If I knew the size I would of got them , but I think their 10.9 grade. I took back some bolts I thought would work but didn't so I got $10 back.

                  Re: 98+ brake upgrade?'s

Thread size does NOT define a proper bolt - it's the grade - paticularly in high stress applications.

This was a common problem when I was a Racing Tech Inspector in the SCCA - an unsafe bolt grade in the suspension and/or brakes.

I use ONLY GM parts when it comes to my brake hardware.

Are they 10.9 grade, Robert? I know the tubular K I had to use 10.9 grade bolts. Did you ever get your tubular K installed Robert?

                      My technical info doesn't say - just the size, which is a metric bolt - so it's either a Class 8.8 or 10.9. I'll bet it's 10.9.

Assuming that Slowside actually got a Class 8.8 instead of a US Grade 8 (since the required bolt is a metric thread) the Class 8.8 is 32% weaker than the Class 10.9. What is interesting is that a US Grade 8 is only 5% weaker than the Class 10.9.

Now - is that confusing enough?

BTW - did not get the K-member - yet.

Not too confusing , but glad I ordered the bolts so they'll be correct, thanks again.
