  • 98+ "affordable" brake/rotor upgrade.

I am not trying to go top of the line or anything, but anyone know whats out there that is affordable brake pad and rotor upgrade without breaking the bank.

I might do Hawk pads, but anything similar, but cheaper? Might look into EBCs, anything I am missing?

Also cheaper rotors, that are decent, vs. just some cheapo duralasts ro something.

As said I know how to go the most expensive route, just looking for a little street upgrade, and maybe a better pad that doesn't fade, and a little bit more durable pad.

I am planning some spirited driving in the mountains, nothing crazy but more then some autozone/advance auto parts stuff can handle. I have been out of the game a little and just seeing if anything has changed.

ws6store and their 160 dollar rotors are a good deal.

Never had a problem with cheap blank rotors through a dozen road racing events.

I use Hawk HP+ or Carbotech AX6 in the front, Hawk HPS or Carbotech Bobcat in the rears.

I would go with a Ceramic pad if getting new pads.

Just use the white box rotors and get some good pads like Hawk.

c5s are out... not looking to dump that much into the car and need 17s

but if iwas serious its the route i would go.

Anyone have any options for cheap rotors, that are quality... they do not have to be cross drilled a slotted. Just seeing if there is a mail order version that is better then some local duralasts or whatever.
