I would say R1concepts would have some good rotors.

Anyone have any options for cheap rotors, that are quality... they do not have to be cross drilled a slotted. Just seeing if there is a mail order version that is better then some local duralasts or whatever.

FYI - I DO NOT have C5 rotors with the associated custom (expensive) brackets to installed the calipers.

I have C5 calipers ONLY - everything else is f-body. The C5 calipers are direct bolt-on.

If you arent looking for drilled/slotted, Brembo blanks are the way to go IMO

I don't want the C5 rotors - why? Upgrading to the front FB 98+ rotors and calipers, and keeping the stock rear calipers, biases the braking way TOO much to the front. I wanted better calipers - not larger rotors. What matters is the pad size - that's the braking power. And the C5 pad is only a little bigger, again bias to the front. Car now brakes flat due to the smaller C5 pistons thereby reducing front bias.

thats not what i ment... i was wondering why they sell the conversion brackets if you do not need them for the swap? are the conversion brackets only for people who want to use the rotors along with the calipers?

Yes - you need to move the calipers outboard to clear the 13" rotor.

For what its worth dug around a bit and it appears the link in this thread fit my needs the best. I am not a fan of drilled and slotted rotors but i'll give em a shot.

Also they came 2 days after I ordered not bad for free shipping.

The ebay ones listed above... brake motion and powerstop combo... heard good things about them even before all of this... did some research on a few sites selling the same products, pretty much most were good. I appreciate my car but it is just above beater status, and this is one of the cheapest combo sets even out there, so it met everything I needed. Decent set up, cheap, so meets my needs.

Looks to be good, the zinc coating helps. The ceramic brake pads are nice to have. I'm going to be doing some 98+ brakes on mine here soon , looks like a great deal.
