When I first bought my car last year it came with Eagle GA tires, but they were dry rotted. So, I didn't know much better so I bought the same tires over again. 12,000 miles later they are completely worn bald evenly!! The tires were suposed to be good for 50,000 miles! So I bring my car back to NTB and complained about it. Those tires cost me $800 for instal, and balance exc. They thought that was odd that all the tires were worn that much evenly, so they consulted the manager. I got a new set for $300 Eagle RT's. But buyers beware, Eagle GA tires are no good! From my exsperience at least.

I'm almost looking foward to the Goodyears wearing out so I can try a different set because of what I've heard. The Firebird has over 9,000 miles on it and the tires have almost as much tread as the Camaro does with 1,800 miles though. I'm not sure if they're going to wear out anytime soon.<a href=\"http://webpages.charter.net/camarov6/Car%20Pics/New/IMG_0085.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Black 2002 Camaro M5</a>-SS takeoff muffler, B&M Ripper, K&N Filter, 35/20% tint, Infinity speakers, Viper alarm, perpetually breaking clutch return spring mod. 15.49@90.15<br /><a href=\"http://webpages.charter.net/camarov6/Car%20Pics/P14.JPG\" target=\"_blank\">Pewter 2002 Firebird M5 (Dad\'s Car)</a>

I had similar problems on both of my cars, 10K out of this last set on my 02 Camaro. I warranty replaced them for a tire of my choosing, I ended up getting $100/tire credit to do it. You shouldn't have went with those RTs if you want better tires, theyre still just as crappy IMO.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

The stock Eagle GA's weren't much for grip, but they lasted near 70,000 miles for me.
The problem I had was with Potenza's. I had at least three of them blow out at highway speeds and separate. All on the rear. Not the 703's or something, it was the step below them. The cheapies, so I may have gotten what I paid for?<b>15.41</b> @ 89.80 & 15.45 @ <b>91.64</b>, 2.21 60ft, 3,440 raceweight, using <b>OEM</b> Equipment. <br />\'98 L67/M49 w/ 134,000 miles before spun bearing. \"<i>It\'s all stock, Baby</i>!\"

My car is a '97, bought first set of GA tires at 31k for $650, with the full warranty for the tires, 22k later, and no rotating,...BALD AS HELL, Was told they would last around 44 from Discount Tire, I said thats only half of their life, they give me the second set for $350 out the door.
Now, I have 27k on my GA's and I have religously rebalanced every 6k miles. Ill get around 32-35k out of these tires total, so rebalancing really does help. But remember guys, those tires are good for handling which means the tires are going to grab and bite corners and wear faster because they are softer.What\'s her last name? I\'ll look it up.<br />You know I don\'t recall. Swim, Swammy, Slippy, Slappy, Simmons, Sommons, Swenson, Swanson?<br />Maybe it\'s on the briefcase.<br />Oh yeah! It\'s right here, Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S though!

I wore out the GA's in 22k miles. Of course, I hated the poor traction so much, I purposely drifted my rear end out on this one corner to work every day, which may have been a contribution :)
Potenza RE950's after that. Doing great on the Tucson frying pan hot pavement. Until I started autocrossing.. (which will kill any tire)

And if you trade them in at 10,000 miles you get $100/tire in credit from goodyear.
I cannot emphasize it enough.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
