  • hotchkis or intrax springs

Well, I can get a 5k used set if intrax lowering springs for $100 shipped or a set of hotchkins for maybe around the same price used as well 5k miles same is intrax. Which one should I get. I'm looking more for handeling than look but I'm sure they'll lower around the same ammount.

Basically, both have 5k on them and I can get them for $100... Hotchkis or Intrax?

I have a set of Hotchkis springs on the Z-28, they are 1" drop springs and I really can't tell any difference in the looks, and I didn't drive it when it had stock springs so I don't know about improving performance. I have a set of Intrax 2" drop springs setting next to me which I plan on putting on my v6 one of these days.

hmmm... I wonder how much thge Intrax will really drop it. I think I might just go for the Intrax. 5k miles isn't a lot on springs is it? Will they still need to be babied a little?

        ALso, which ones is stiffer?

I can tell you that the Hotchkis are 285-525lbs/in for the front, and 100-140lbs/in for the rears (from their website). Don't know about the Intrax though.
