  • Line Lock Problem !

    Hi !

    I installes my Linelock Kit today:

    I have the SJM Kit and a 1995 Firebird V6 Convertible A4

    My Problem:

    I start the engine, hit the Brake, switch to (D), turn on the line Lock.

    I hear the Solenoid "klack" and i move the foot from the brake pedal.
    The car doesent move,....

    but when i slightly push the gaspedal the wheels dont spin and the car start to drive forward.

    the linelock isnt strong enugh - WHY ??

    Hope someone can help me out,....

    Did you bleed your brake? Is it leaking at all?

      yes, i bleed my brakes,....
      I changed the whole braking fluid,...

      and first it leaks a bit and than we tighten the lines,....

      did you think there is still air in the braking system ?

        When I engage my line locks, I pump my brakes a few times and then with the pedal held down, I flip the switch. That will allow for more brake pressure to build up.

            Hey, what kind and where did you get your line lock from?

              I used the SLP line lock kit. At the time, I had to bend a brake line to make it work, but I believe that they had pre-bent ones now.
