I have a non adjustable panhard rod... do I NEED to buy an adjustable one if I am going to lower my car?

If you don't mind the axle being moved a little to one side you don't need to. I really don't know how much it moves over and whether it's safe to drive like that. But I'd imagine it's highly recommended that you have an adjustable one. I'd don't know how it drives when the two rear wheels aren't directly behind the two front wheels. It just doesn't seem like it's a good idea.

No, you don't. This rear wheels are never centered anyway. The suspension geometry is such that the axle moves from side to side, as the suspension goes up and down.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

That's right. Although, If you ever want to get really wide wheels and don't want them to rub the inside of your wheel wells, you will eventually need an adj. panhard rod.2001 Arctic White Firebird
T-Tops, 3.42 rear gear stock
Mods:K&N Air Filter,Whisper Air Induction Lid, maf screen removed, raised air box, Kumho Ecsta 712 255-50-ZR16 tires, BMR stb
Mods not installed yet: FTRA, SLP Lsd/Differential cover
Near Future Mods: HPP3, GMMG 3\" Exhaust , 1LE Swaybars, Transgo Shift Kit, MSD-DIS-4 w/ Accel Coil-Packs, Turquoise Blue Neon Underbody Kit, BMR Adj. Are 275's considered REALLY wide? Or would they be ok on a dropped (sliightly) car with a non adj?2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

While it is true the axle moves side to side, I'd like mine to start out reasonably centered and not go even further off when the axle moves one way. I'd also like the wheels to be in line when the vehicle is moving down the road in a neutral attitude.
My personal take would be, if my rear wheels are visibly misaligned at rest, I'd like to fix that. I wouldn't get out the calipers to check.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs

I did the geometry once and found that it only shifts about a 1/16" for a 1.5" drop. So I agree that if AFTER you put the wider tires on it looks funny to you, THEN get an adjustable PHR.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com
