Yes a 275 will fit. That's a normal size for 17's. The widest I know of in back would be a 315. That would require a lot of bfh mod. I have 295's out back and they required some bfh and I cut out bump stops.

I have seen mini tubed cars running 345s and some without out them running 335s.

I would stick with the 275s though as there are no real issues with install.

All these answers are correct. You can go larger than 315 out back if you b or mini tub but there's honestly no reason for it because I doubt you make enough power to require it. But yeah for a 17x9 wheel id go 275's. If you had a 10-11 inch wheel id do 295. Just my. 02.

Ive seen people fit 315sm with no modification. Others, needed allot (PHB, BFH) depends no the car really.

They make a 285/40R17. Its approx 26" in diameter which is fine.

The next size up would be a 285. Tires run in 10 mm increments. As for the size I think most still run a 285/40r17.

You can go 285 on the front, with a 17x9.5" rim.

i think the rims i want are 17x9
