shocks\spring question

I would like to stiffen up my ride. So its more like a real sports car, what i mean is i wanna feel the road, i dont want a "nice" ride, i want to sacrifice comfort for handling. I do NOT want to lower my car more than 1/2. Please give me any advice on what shocks\springs are up my alley. Thanks in advance. [img]graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]

HMMMMMM... Let me think.....I guess go with low profile tire and as far as springs go, I don't know. My drop is past 1.5" all around so I know you don't want that. Check with eibach.

Ah I forgot, Globalwest makes coilovers for our cars now. They're pretty expensive, like 700 bucks for all four.

Since you don't list a year, I am assuming you have a 98+ Camaro. The rear springs are the same as the V8 cars, and the fronts are a little softer. The Modification Encyclopedia has various spring rates listed with drops. You might also consider going to WS6 (1LE) progressive springs which won't drop the car.

Good guess, i have a 2000, haha, and thanks for the info, i will look into it.

If you're buying used then be ware that not all WS6/SS springs came with 1LE. I believe it was mid 2000 that they started putting in regular Z28 springs.
