• ABS INOP after donuts? what do you think causes it?

Its funny maybe abut 20% of the time after I do donuts my ABS INOP kicks in. I shut the car off and turn it back on and all is well, but what causes it? Is it something all cars do or maybe its related 4 wheel disc covnersion.

Either way with insanely bald tires, when I did donuts, I was doing nearly perfectly concentric circles. And later screwing with my hawk pads when they were heated up, and the ABS off, i got about a 30 foot long all 4 wheels locked up skid, was pretty fun

when you did your 4 wheel disc conversion you put a new axle in?

was that axle from car with or without TCS?

30 foot slide with all four tires locked up would be fun :D

you see I am not sure, odds are it probably does have TCS, but for it to control my brakes just seems wierd, I didn't think anything of it since it was off a 97 WS6, so its OBDII in my OBDI computer jsut seems like it woudl not even be compatible.

think there are any easy ways to disconnect it? Maybe jsut unplug the wiring harness, I don't need a light to tell me I have low tractoin I can usually tell

either way it doesn't work like full traction control.

Sometimes your ABS Inop light will illuminate when your rear tires spin at much higher speeds than the front wheels for an excessive amount of time. Sometimes it happens on a dyno. It should go away with a simple key cycle.
