  • Springs/Shocks without sacrifying clearance?

Well, I think my rear shocks are gone now. So, I want to do shocks and springs. But, I have a turbo on it right now and have 2 low pipes hanging under the k-member(Downpipes got like 2inch clearance!) and I dont want to have car car lower than it is right now. I think I'm going with Blisten shocks. I want to get better springs too but is there any performance springs that wouldn't lower the car?

I think just about every spring kit lowers the car. With coilovers like the Ground Control kit I have, I could adjust the ride height back to stock, and maybe higher if I really wanted.

I'd try calling Sam Strano at Stranoparts.com and seeing if he can match up some springs in good rates that will keep your ride height, and save you the extra $200 the GC kit will cost. He's also a good source for the Bilsteins.

Depends - what kind of performance you looking for? Straight line or cornering? If it were me I'd do a custom drag launch setup. *nods* 90/10 shocks, softer front springs have a much lower spring ratio for more weight transfer but the springs are long enough to not lower the front end, and some stiff drag springs in the back to eliminate crouching. Would make the car hook pretty good.
