    I've used mine as a pickup occasionally, although I wouldn't recommend driving around with quite this much weight all the time. There's six 80-pound bags of concrete mix in there along with the lumber.

        ^ditto. I didnt catch that in my first pass through this thread. I'd re-think the locker if you plan on driving the car in the winter.

          Eh - we shall see. There are guys driving spools in the rain. I already know what this thing does, having been pretty nasty to it over the last couple days. Even though it is advertised as "the first %100 fully streetable locker", I will have to adjust my driving in bad weather. The rear end setup/gear guy at my local shop talked me into this over the LSD I was trying to get installed, and if it turns out to be that bad I won't have to pay any more labor changing it out. I think I have a pretty good idea what to expect though - and I won't get stupid.
