    hi,

I want to upgrade my rear suspension, and i was wondering the 1LE parts for the Camaro and Firebirds are they really different from the standaard V6 parts ?

I replaced allready my shocks (koni's) and front and rear swaybars (32 and 19mm 1LE)

I was looking at the rear lower control arms and trackbar from the 1LE cars.
I had read somewhere that the only difference by the rear control arms and trackbar are the different bushings (1LE are stiffer).
But when i look at www.newgmparts.com

I see there are 3 partnumbers, so there is some difference,

    Re: 1LE parts

The difference in p/n is due to the stiffer rubber bushings. I have the 1LE LCA and PHR. Actual p/n for 1LE parts are on my personal web site.

    Here's what I got using the 1LE LCA actual p/n 10164151:

    Control arm, all models, w/perf-option 93-99 $141.83 $99.43

Rear suspension - Lower control arm - Control arm

    Performance package Either Side 93-02 $141.83 $99.43

Rear suspension - Suspension components - Control arm - Performance package

thanks Raven, for the quick responce
It is maybe a stupid question but the part 10164151 Lower control arm is this the price for one lower control arm or a set of two, and does it includes the bushings ?

This p/n had the bushings and was for ONE. They are identical for right and left.

Go for the bushings listed above. It's not worth it to buy the control arms when yours will do just as well with the same bushings.

Only for the first year - then 32mm front bar upgrade only for the package. Too much understeer with the 21mm rear bar.

                    Re: 1LE parts

Wouldn't that be oversteer with a 21mm rear bar and a 32 front?
