The tires I have right now are P245s, the look sooo sweet, and I wanna get new tires soon, does the factory 235/255s look any different? maybe not as wide or something, their cheaper, but if they look alittle smaller in width, then I'm going with the 245s, I measured the tread and I think I got around 9 to 9.5 inches across on 16x8 rims. My personal opinion is stay with the 245's. I have 255's right now and the look is night and day. The wider tires is probably one of the best looking things on my car but it's something that you can't really put your finger on unless you knew what it looked like before. Look around and see what prices you can find on 255's. Mine were basically the same price as if I wanted 235's because the 255 isn't something they really keep in stock and chances are if they have a couple around they've been there for a while. Plenty of brands. Heard good things about kumhos, and those will be the tires I replace my stock ones with (z rated or better to keep them soft).

I had 235/55/16s on my Camaro, went to BF Goodrich Comp T/A HR4 255/50/16s. They were about $110 each. I've seen them listed as high as $125 each. Tirerack.com has the best online price that I found for them. And, like raven1469 said, if you don't get them on the internet, most places will have to order them, because they're an oddball size. Do keep in mind, though, that 255/50s will be taller than your 245/50s. you guys with the 255/50 Kumhos...they did look bubbled out of the rim because they were to wide? or did it fit nicely? I think I know what you're saying. You don't want a tire too big that'll make your rims look small? I have 8.5" rims and my 255s fit perfect. You have 8s, so 245 or 255, take your pick. I luv'em wide...looks meaner..wouldnt you think. by bubbly i mean like when they are too wide and look wider than the rim...so around the edges of the rim the tire is popping out...because its significantly wider than rim itself. but yeah..i think 255's should go in nicely.
