  • Front left, clunking noise

There is a clunking noise when i go over a bump. If i make a turn, it goes "clunk clunk clunk" like you can sorta here it bouncing up and down. I think its a bushing or something, but i'm not sure. I'm not the most knowledgable person when it comes to suspension

take the wheel off and check the brake, mine came off one time and was riding on the inner part of the wheel and rotor... luck for me no damage was done. or you can try to "wiggle or shake" the brake with the wheel on..see if thats your noise. let me know

Jack up that side of the car, then put one hand on top of the wheel, one hand on the bottom, then wiggle it really hard(while not pulling it off the jack/jackstand). If you get movement, you need to replace the, most likely lower, balljoint. Then put your hands at 9 and 3 o' clock. Wiggle like a mofo, if you get movement your tie-rod end is going bad. You'd also probably notice squeaking when you turn your wheels from side to side while the car is on the floor standing still. If it is neither of these, check your sway bar end links. Obviously check out the lower control arm bushings while you have the car up in the air. Good Luck.

When my swaybar links broke I'd a real loud clunking noise going over bumps. Luckily it's a very easy fix
