Not sure what class restrictions are involved regarding upgrading wheel size, I think you can run a bigger size as long as it was an available stock size for a particular model and still be considered "stock".

If that is the case I would suggest getting ahold of some 3rd Gen 16" wheels and run 245/50R16 in something sticky.

yea, after i posted this, i decided it wouldnt cost to much to get another set of wheels (200.00), the same i have now but in a 16x8, and im gonna go with the kumho ecsta 711 in a 245/50/16, its thier high perf summer tire, but its only gonna be my "track tire", ill rock the blackwall kelly charger 215 65 15's on the rims i have now. thanks for your input.

Sounds like a plan, good luck with the racing. The 711's should make a good, sticky inexpensive alternative to some competition tires.

Also, check up on the rules (if you haven't already) as far as what suspension upgrades are allowed so you don't accidentally bump yourself up a class by changing out too much.

i already bumped myself up a few classes  (STX i think) b/c my hi flow cat. so , im just gonna do as much as i can now in that class's limits. but first things first, im gettin a 45 inch red glasspack to go inplace of my entire side pipe, a cat is just to damn loud and raspy, though it sound sweet the first few days, and this saturday it magically started to sound like a honda buzz cannon.
