Since the only real difference between 1LE and stock components is the bushings - what are the part numbers for the 1LE bushings for the panhard and LCAs? I would think it would be a ton cheaper to simply buy bushings than all new components - right?

SLP has them for $79.95 http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=70400
and says sold in pairs. So am I getting both for $79.95?
And FYI 1LE trans mount is now part number 22201140.

In case you're interested, SLP also has a reinforced panhard bar for $79.95 (it was on special for $69.95 last time I looked). I just installed energy suspension polyurethene panhard rod bushings last weekend. It just takes a drill and 3/8 drill bit. Just drill out old bushings, grease and install new ones. The hardest part is getting bolts out to take bar off. By the way these only cost $15.99 part #355-3-7106G. If you are going to get the whole lca or panhard rod I would check out lakewood lca's and adj panhard rod both are slightly more than slp($87.99 for lca part #620-20140 and $89.99 for panhard rod part #62020440) and you get new aftermarket parts made with heavier steel and polyurethene bushings. All part #'s are from Jegs.

Since most of the slop is in the bushings, if this still has the stock bushings it is not a good deal.2000 Firebird convert, chameleon/tan, M5, Y87, TCS, BMR tower brace and panhard, KBDD sfcs, 245/50-16 GSCs

I would not want poly in LCA or PHR bushings. It's all in the sig.

My thoughts also. Reinforcing doesn't help anything. Draw the imaginary x axis from front to rear of the car and y axis from side to side. The panhard rod is supposed to resist forces on the y axis only. x axis have no effect on it. By reinforcing you're not helping x axis, just y axis. Basically doing nothing to help it. All you'll do is introduce bind as it's supposed to bend up and down as axle moves up and down. Just believe me for now until I take some pics and show it in real life.

I'll second what Dom has said, no sense in repeating it. I have said and will say again, the GM 1LE LCA and PHR are the best for HP street or autocross. A drag suspension has completely different needs, and for that I recommend Hotchkis LCA and PHR.Robert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com

I agree for the LCAs now that I've read enough...
But what about the PHR? Are you saying a BMR Panhard with Poly bushings will somehow *bind*? I dont see when the PHR would ever want to twist...2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
