so today i go out get an impact wrench, and everything i try to fit it in to take the last two bolts off the lca's i cant so screw it. im fed up with the car, the bolts are frozen, even if i get them to turn they are stuck in the bushings and wont come out, how the heck did neone else get theirs off? Im highly ticked at this car right now and want to take a sledge hammer to it, ever since i started this rebuild nothin has gone right, nore been one bit easy.

a breaker bar or a double wrench works well. the double wrench is an old mechanics trick. take the regular wrench and use the box end on the bolt. then take another wrench about the same time and hook the box end of it to the open end of the other wrench thus making one very long wrench. That way you get extra leverage. Plus soak all the bolts in PB blaster or the like1996 Silver camaro Z28. ok, i ahd your same problem, heres what my solution was. i bought a regular air sander, and a large cut off disc, i cut very delicately up the nut side of the bolt, once ur done, use vice grips to clamp onto teh bolt side and twist it, and move it in and out as much as u can and all teh rust and dirt and **** will fall out and let u pull it out. had to do this to both front bolts on mine.
