Was backing out of a parking spot at work - making hard left turn to the lock. Hear a pop from the front end. WTF was that? Straighten wheels to drive down isle and realize that the steering wheel is now 45 DEGREES TO THE LEFT when going straight!!!

Drove the 7 miles home - no steering issue but crooked steering wheel. Inspected - no leaks, nor does anything look wrong under the car.

OK gurus of the site - WTF happened? Run the pinion off the rack?

Will find out for sure Friday, but it would appear the the pinch bolt at the rack slipped.

Well, the pinch bolt and steering linkage is fine.

Both side lower front A-arms slipped in the K-member adjustment slots.

            Same as this guy:

            New alignment and everything OK.
