What is the gap between the rim and the spindle?

I have OE wheels C6 replicas 17x9.5 and they clear no problem.

    Hope that helps.

      Nope.

One spindle is bent and I need to figure out which one.

Thanks, but you have 9.5" and I have 9" - so it won't tell me what I need.

              Perfect!

Top of the rim (at the tire bead) to the spindle.

Kinda hard to get it, looks to be between 7/8 and 15/16 of an inch.

I thought about jacking it up, but that would have changed the geometry.

Nope - cause wheel is bolted to hub, and hub is bolted to the spindle.

Duh, i didnt even think about that. Is the measurement what you needed? Tell you anything? My car is in storage right now, so if need be i can remeasure, i'll be headed back up there in a bit to work on preparing some parts and fiddling around.
