  • How many people have their cars lowered?

im just wondering after hearing bad things and some good things whether it is actually worth it and would just like to see how many people have a lowered car without problems.

    thanks.

ive been wanting to aswell, but ive heard its a waste of time/worse then stock, unless yu get an adjustable PHR, LCAs, and shocks with it. wow... kinda out of my budget.anyways im not 100% positive on that and im prolly gonna get flamed by someone who only put springs on their car, but thats just what ive heard....

I lowered mine 1.5" with a set of Eibach's. I wanted a stiffer spring for autocrossing, and it just happened to lower the car as a side benefit....

You should get a matched set of shocks too. I don't know all the in's and out's of matching the shocks. I called Sam Strano Jr. at stranoparts.com and talked it through with him. He revalves Bilstein shocks to match springs. I ended up getting a set of adjustable Koni's.

The car handles great. I haven't been back to the track yet though. I may need some lca relocation brackets at some point because the lca's are angled quite a bit now.

I did not need a different phr or different lca's. I did already have 1LE sway bars from last year's mods...
