is this a good price?

someone in my local area is parting out his car and he has a wheel/tire combo for sale:

American Racing Torq Thrust II rims... 17x9.5 front, Michelin Pilot Sport 275/40/ZR17's; 17x11 rear, Michelin Pilot Sport 315/35/ZR17's..... $1200

is that a good deal on price? would it be cheaper to get z06s and some kuhmo tires or somethin? what do you think?

Is it a good price??
What are the conditions of the rims? Curb rash? Come with lugs and centercaps? What is the tire tread? How many miles on the tires? Any holes get plugged up at anytime?
Questions you hafta ask in order to find a decent price, or find out you got ripped once you bought them.

Don't know if you'll need to do those mods because I've never installed tires like that, but it's just a reference (if needed).

Keep in minds that those big tires will seriously weigh down your car, and you _will_ feel (and be) slower taking off.
