  • I'm still a little fuzzy on tire size and rim size

I'm looking to get some rims 17x7.5, so would a tire size of 215/40ZR17 fit. Also, what do you all think of these rims

first of all 7.5 width is kinda narrow, yes that tire will fit on that rim, but if that rim right there is exactley what you want to put on you fbody, it wond fit. That rim is a four bolt pattern, our cars are five lug on four and three quarter. Honestly, just my opinion, i dont care for those wheels. THere are a lot of nicer ones out there. :D

So would a 17x8 or 17x8.5 be better? Also, what about these rims

          17x8 min spec, P255/45R17
          17x9 preferred, P275/40R17

I won't help you rice the fbody. Your stock wheels are 16x8, dont go narrower than 8"

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Don't worry, I'm not going to rice it out. I found some I like, they are 18x9 with 275/40 so my speedometer will only be off by less then 2%. I have a 96 so no pp3 to reprogram :(

hey those ssr wheels are pretty nice... they are pretty expensive though arentthey...or maybe its just the ssr gt3 that are expensive... check my wheels out on my car...they are 17x8 and they are pretty nice i think. Plus they are fairly cheap for us residents. :D
