Hey, it's been a long time since I have posted on this site.
Anyways, I have a 2000 Camaro and I just installed new rotors and brake pads on the front. When re-assembly was finished I noticed that the passenger side wheel was extremely hard to spin. I took it all apart, and replaced the caliper since I noticed brake fluid leaking from the rubber boot of one of the pistons.
So I put the new caliper on, torqued everything down, and still the wheel is impossible to rotate. My car won't get up over 40 mph and I don't want to heat soak/warp this new rotor.
My mechanic friend says I need to replace the brake line that goes from the caliper to the chasis. It's just that cheap rubber hose that's about a foot long. My drivers side is great, no problems what-so-ever. This has now happened with the old caliper and a brand new caliper. Any suggestions?
