  • Bad Tire Wear or misalignment

When accelerating slowly, the front of my car shakes so much that the mirrors on the side move up and down. Is this bad tire wear or a misalingment? Also when i get into the car i hear a squeak from the back rear of the car. I can make it squeak everytime i sit in the car and move to the side.

I think my car squeks when you wiggle it to the side. Umm, its either you have a bent rium, or your tires are off balance by quite a bit. It would NOT be the alignment, unless you are getting really bad irregular tire wear on your tires, then it could be the toe causing your vibration. If you want to check for a bent rim yourself, just jack up the car, and spin the two front tires in the air. Good luck, ;)

How worn are your tires now? If they show excessive wear, replace your tires before it's too late! Then get another alignment.

If you go to a good tire shop and get four new tires, they'll usually throw in a balancing (which you'll need anyway) and a four-wheel alignment.
