• A unusual lowering question...

What company has springs that lower the front only 1/2 inch to 1inch and that lowers the rear 1 1/2 to 2 inches??? The rear of my car has a big gap, the front looks ok. I just want to level it out.
What I got you got to get and put it in you.

I used Hotchkis prings and my car is almost perfectly level. The back was higher before the springs, but now it sits 1"-1.25" lower and level. I really like these springs.

Like hawgs said, you don't want to do something like that. The hotchkis springs I bought also leveled out my car. I used to have the big gap in the rear as well. I don't know about the rest of the aftermarket springs, but Hotchkis 1" lowering springs will level your car out and make it look great.

Im curious, those hotchkis springs lower your car 1 inch front AND rear and level it out?? Even though the car is not level to begin with?? The rear of my car is 2 full inches higher than the front..and like I said I just want to level it out. Where did you guys buy thos hotchkis springs and how much did you spend in total to lower your car?? THanks

We both put in the Hotchkis ourselves.

We both got shocks at the same time we did our springs (highly advised).

You can do the job yourself, too. Ask either one of us, we'd be glad to help.

The springs were about 200 bucks. The shocks were roughly 300. Then you just need some basic tools and you're set.

My car sets pretty flat, and I just dropped my an inch in the rear. Check out my site for pics.

Remember, a level Fbody is an unsafe one at speed. You actually need about a 1-3degree rake to keep the aerodynamics safe over 90mph
