• Removing old bushings from stock panhard bar

Can anyone who has done this answer me this: What's the best way to remove the old rubber and metal bushings from a stock panhard bar? I've tried to pound out the inner metal sleeve with a hammer and a large diameter punch but she ain't budging. I don't have a bench press on premises. Ideas? Anyone?

get a socket or something that fits on the metal sleeve, a no bounce hammer (or a sledge ) and a friend you really trust, and go to town.
