It is acting as designed. The slight pressure keeps the rotors dry and excessive play out of the petal.

Ive still seen my buddies LS1 car freewheel without restriction and that thing stops as good or better than my car. Ive heard of a number of other cars being fine to, not just F-bodies.

I understand they must be right by the rotor, but it should be a pressure that is just dusting the rotor, not as much as what is currently there.

Normally the proportioning valve and the residual valve are used for the balancing and pressurizing of the front to rear brakes. Residual valves will keep pressure on the rear system but mainly with drums brakes. Balancing between the right and left front brakes is normally not a problem . I also have a resistance problem with the drivers side front rotor. Mine will not rotate one revolution without stopping. I also removed the abs system and tried replacing the caliper on that side but did not solve the problem.

My calipers are starting to seize up a bit in the front...I think the piston is going. I don't want to buy the same crap either, these were brand new last year or two years ago.

That resistance annoys me and I need to figure out a way to stop it or else look for different brakes that don't do that.
