  • who here has the full 1LE setup

I remember someone saying they had put 1LE springs on their V6.. who was it?? I'd really like to know how it turned out.. also did you have 1LE sways to?

reason I'm asking is yesterday I drove a 2000 T/A for the first time and man I liked the firmer ride soooo much better.. and I'm wondering how that stiffer setup works on our cars.. plus I'm pretty sure my springs have settled too much and I need to replace them anyway..

any info would be greatly appreciated..

I have 1LE all round and found a great improvement, but the ride is more stiff and may not be confortable for crusing. 1LE suspension is the most stiff I would go for streetable. The handling at crisp rate is very well balanced. It is very hard to wearout springs in less than 100K, but if your ride has gone away, it is most likely your shocks.

man I can see where your ride would be some kinda harsh.. with those huge sways and all poly bushings.. yeah I am thinking that my shocks are going soon but my car is much lower than it should be and the springs just have too much give..

after pricing everything I am thinking I would just buy a complete set of v8 springs (slp takeoffs) and replace them all and see what that does to my ride height...

I think it might be possible that the person who had the car before me may have heated the springs... I think the likelyhood that all 4 have collapsed is between slim and none...
