  • 1LE springs w/ decarbons

I bought a set of the takeoff decarbon shocks last month while they were on sale but my question is what springs should i use. I don't want to lower the car too much seeing that the decarbons can't handle lowering very well. Plus I am on a budget.

I would get the v8-takeoff springs but I don't want to make the front end look goofy.

Has anyone used the 1LE Springs with decarbons? or just on a v6.

Does anyone have any pictures of 1LE springs or the take off V8 shocks on a v6?

    Thanks for any info.

I have 1LE(94 decarbons) with 1LE springs. They work great. I don't know the exact differences in valving between V8 and 1LE.

I've heard many people say that the front V8 take off springs will definatly raise the front, but I think the rear will be fine, seeing that the springs for the later v6s (98-02) are exactly the same as the earlier and later v8s. The ones on earlier V6s (93-97) are the wimpy springs, as seen in the database. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
