• Newbie Suspension Advice (Parts On Order)

Alright guys I need some pointers here.

I just ordered:

Eibach Pro-Kit Spring Set
Bridgestone Potenza RE730 (245/40ZR18)
Eagle 007's 18 x 8

Can you guys please point me in the right direction pertaining to the following items.

Panhard Rod
Shocks

and any other items I may require for the proper setup.

Any advice would be really appreciated, since I'm just getting around to doing suspension work to my car.

Once Again,
Thanks Fellas

auctually with lowering springs you may want to look toward the slp valved shocks, they are more meant for a lowered vehicle..

More Questions.

I'm definitely getting a Panhard Rod:
Should I go with Adjustable or Regular (Why)

Also I'm have trouble deciding on control arms. Can you guess break it all down for me?

Thanks

adjustable.. so you can adjust it after you lower it.. the non adjustable ones are worthless..

First of all... Nice tires... Nice wheels... and Nice springs. You're gonna love it.

Is this a street driver? Just a fun cruiser? You would be fine with a set of takeoff decarbons if you NEED something now (and you will since its a 94) until you can get the Bilstein HDs or KYB AGXs.

If you're not racing, you likely don't need revalved HDs for simple eibach v6 springs, since they're not extremely stiff. It will save you money to do it.

Panhard Rod, you won't need one most likely. Lower it and look at the rear, plumb bob it if you must, and if its off a lot then you should realign it with an adjustable one. Just be sure you get an alignment when you get the springs and shocks installed okay?

And let us know what you think when you get it all put together. It sounds nice.

I have a couple questions about my recent shock purchase.

I've been reading all of the posts about sagging after installing Eibach Pro-Kit.. and that you should just buy a decent pair of rear shocks and adjustable front shock to compensate for any sagging.

Let me know if my shock choice was right?
