The Goodyear Eagle GAs i have on my car have been good to me, and i really don't have any problems with them but i would like to upgrade to a high-performance tire. I can get the BFGs for the same price as the Goodyears, BUT this is my only ride and i need to be able to drive it in the snow.

I don't know yet. I bought them in the spring. I will have to wait till this winter, but from what I hear, they handle well in the snow

I got them last december and they work great in the snow IMO. Never sliped once. However once I got on ice that was a diffrent story. But I guess the only thing made for ice are ice tires.

Im getting these ties in a couple days and if you look at the tire rack web site they gave them an unacceptible snow traction rating. In both the new tread and traditional tread.
I've driven though some serious snow with these tires and as long as your a good driver you can make it though pretty much anything. I did need to start off in 3rd and 4th gear to get moving a few times but it was pretty nasty stuff. No tires do well on ice, but these do well on the snow if your a smart driver.

Oops I was looking at the KDW not the KDWS they were given a 6.2 good rating in the snow out of 10. Im getting the KDW new tread. they couldnt give my tires even a 1 out of 10 for snow traction. good thing i have extra tires/weels for the winter.
