• ZR1's on my Firebird

Just put a set of AFS Wheels ZR1 replica's on tonight. I got the polished 17x9.5 with the +38 offset (84-87 Corvette) and I'm sooo glad I didn't get the +56 offset. The 38's fill out the fender much nicer IMO. Tires are Sumitomo HTR+ in 275/40. More pics on my website. I think I could use a 1" drop to eliminate a bit more of that gap.

Ignore the dirty car, ran out of time tonight for a wash.

Wheels look good... but you could use a little help in the exhaust tip department.

Nice looking. My ZR1's are actually the 56mm offset. I think they look fine, also considering 56mm is the stock offset of the 4th gen F-bodies with 17 inch wheels. I was lead to beleive that the 38's are made for the 3rd F-bodies that want wheels like us. :D Looks good though. Check out my car inmy sig, I have the ZR1's, 275's and an inch rear drop. Good luck. ;)

The Firebird has slightly exaggerated fenders compared to the Camaro, which is why I wanted the +38's. +38 is the 84-87 Corvette offset. 89-92 Fbody 16x8 wheels had a 0 offset front and +16 rear.

I'll try to get some better pics and post them.

Its not that the tips are dirty... its that they look like truck tips and and an extra 5" to the length of your car.

I like the Magnaflow tips! ;) Although you're right, there is few inches to play with, the whole system could be shifted forward so they don't stick out so far.

:D They really weren't very expensive, got 'em on eBay. $391 + $80 shipping for the set. I spent more on tires than the wheels.
