  • Where Can I Learn about the suspension

There's a friggin web page on everything else for a car, but the suspension system is kicking me arse. I've read through the last months worth of posts and still don't know much. (and don't want to bother you guys with a hundred "newbie" questions) Where can I go to learn where most of this stuff interacts with one another just from wandering around the forum I've learned where most of the parts go, but the principles behind most of it escapes me.

Can anyone suggest a site (or even a book) or let me send them some dumb newbie questions?

    Thanx :(

"Where can I go to learn where most of this stuff interacts with one another" That's a great question but the answer is not simple. How many times have you seen a NASCAR team, with serious experts, $$$, and much testing, say "We blew the setup."? Unfortunately, I don't know of a basic website for beginners.

"Chassis Engineering", Herb Adams, is a good and pretty simple explanation of suspension. "How to Make Your Car Handle", Fred Puhn, is a lot longer, but still readable.

"Tune to Win", Carroll Smith, is the best, but is noway a beginners book.
