This is going to be the dumbest question on this forum to date

    26x11.5 16LT

^^ What size rim would those tires go on...is that a 16" rim or a 15" rim?

I'll explain after I get a straight answer and confirm my insanity.

    2002 SOM Z28 Camaro - 12.9 @ 104 mph
    1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph

    Re: Sizing help

As far as I know it'd be a 26" tall tire, 11.5" wide, and for a 16" wheel. o.O Does that not match?

No lol- that is what my MT ET streets reads on the sidewall!!

I swear to God I have been running 15's all these years, and now I read the tire as I am looking at options for this upcoming season (because these rims don't clear my ls1 calipers) and I'm finding out they're 16's??

I'm actually so confused right now lol...because if they are 16's the weld prostars shouldnt have an issue as far as I know in clearing the brakes...

I havent had enough coffee to think about this right now hahhaha

          Your rims are 15 x 8 prostars?

If they are 15 x 8 you will need to do a little grinding on the caliper to get it to clear.

BTW are you sure its LT?

            Re: Sizing help

I dunno what the rims are lol

This is what my ET streets say that are mounted to my weld prostars...so I must have 16" prostars which are impossible to find these days?? Im having a hard time verifying they even existed

scratch that...I cant seem to post pictures on here anymore...Theyre uploading as 157 bytes only and coming out as small "x"s

Anyways it reads on the side 26x11.5 - 16LT and theyre mounted on my prostars...so they MUST be 16" prostars no??

              Re: Sizing help

Yeah , they must be kinda of rare, I have 15" front Prostars and they have to have a 1/4" spacer to clear the caliper.

                Re: Sizing help

The way the rears are pushing out just on the caliper alone, they would stick out a good 1.5-2 inches past the fender...I would not want to squat and land on those lol...

But I'm suprised...if they truly are 16's I would have thought they would fit!

The build date on them says 88' hahaha

                  Re: Sizing help

The LT on the MT ET streets is how M/T got the tire DOT legal. It's on the M/T web sight if you wish to look.

Try using Photobucket and providing a link for pictures.

Just get a set of 16" stockers for $50-$100 and mount them up.
