    actually... The LS1 steering coupler, although the same length, is built a little differently. It doesn't have a rag joint. So the overall diameter is a little smaller.

    That's the only difference I'm aware of.

    (well, it's painted too, because it doesn't come with the plastic boot around it either.)

      Yeah - thats the part I was thinking of. It's nothing that you can't put on though. You can still USE an LS1 rack you just need to upgrade your front end for it [img]smile.gif[/img] as I said, talk to Hawgs if you want the LS1 rack.

        Ok, here's the steering coupler (or linkage) part numbers:

        93-97 all 26020775
        98-99 v6 26020775

        98-99 ls1 26055910
        00-02 all 26055910

        So all up to 97, and the v6 from 98-99 were the same part.

        The ls1 introduced a new one, and the v6 adopted it in 00.
