  • update on hotchkis springs opinions

    for all who have hotchkis springs(name your shocks too), what are you opinions? this is specifically for those who haven't posted about them and im especially wanting opinions about after breaking them in, what do you think?

    please include if you can on how they did at the track and ofcourse everyday driving. and what else you have suspension whise that might help.

    Hawgs, i know you have hotchkis and bilstien shocks, hook me up with some details

    VERY good choice if I do say so myself. I am glad I picked these.

    -The stance is perfect, just the way I like it.
    -The ride quality is great, not too harsh but much tighter then stock.
    -Doesn't sag in the rear like I have seen some Eibachs do.. its level.
    -Any lowering spring is going to take away from weight transfer to the rear when you accelerate... therefore taking away some traction. I haven't been to the track on these yet, just on the street on 17" tires. I am sure with some DRs at the track it won't be too bad.

      yeah, i like the 1" drop stance. clean. im going to be putting everything on at the same time so its going to be some time till i put things on. do you know of any specific suspension parts not many people know about. i remember this one post about a replacemnt ball joint or something to help bumb steer on lowered cars. stuff like that. i want to make sure everything is in geometry
