  • Well, tires are shot...

And i mean tread actually separting from the tire. Only the one was really bad though, i figure whoever had the car before just drove with the tire badly underinflated. But this just gives me a good reason to buy four more. For godsakes they were mastercrafts, not exactly performance tires. But, im stepping up to Kumho Supra 712's 255/50/16. From what i read on the board those are pretty much the best bang for the buck tire out there. Im going to the track on the 10th so i'll fill everyone in on how they work out there.

They were ordered today. Should be here and on the car by middle of next week. Tirerack is by far the cheapest place i could find them...shipped they were $412.00. Thats even cheaper by more than $150.00 than buying them on post where i live....and theres no tax here. Great deal.

Well, they got here today! Tirerack said prolly next weds but they got here today. Got them mounted too. They seem like an awesome tire so far, but boy do they track. They want to follow every groove in the road. Gettin used to it pretty quick though. Ill post some times with em at the track, not even gonna heat em up, just run em.
